APA LEADERSHIP PATCHES

Leadership Patches are awarded to players who have accepted
and taken on certain responsibilities in our League.

Division Rep Patch Earned when you have been chosen and appointed as a League Representative for your division.	Team Captain Patch Earned when you have led your own team as a Team Captain for an entire Session in your division.	Team Co-Captain Patch Earned when you have assisted leading a team as a Team Co-Captain for an entire Session in your division.

8-Ball Patches

8-Ball Break & Run (8BR) - Earned by pocketing a ball on a legal break and running the rest of your balls out, including the 8-ball, without fouling.  

8- Ball on the Break (8OB) - Earned by making a legal break and pocketing the 8-Ball without scratching or jumping the cue ball off the table.

8-Ball Mini Slam (8MS) - Earned by making an 8 on the Break and having an 8-Ball Break & Run in one night.  

Rackless (RL) - Earned by starting out breaking in a match and continuing to win and break without racking until the match is won.

I Beat a 6 (IB6) - Earned by winning against an opponent, who is ranked a SL6 in 8-Ball.

I Beat a 7 (IB7) - Earned by winning against an opponent, who is ranked a SL7 in 8-Ball. 

9-Ball Patches

9-Ball Break & Run (9BR) - Earned by pocketing a ball on a legal break and running the rest of the rack out, including the 9-ball, without fouling. 

9- Ball on the Break (9OB) - Earned by making a legal break and pocketing the 9-Ball without scratching or jumping the cue ball off the table.

9-Ball Mini Slam (9MS) - Earned by making a 9-Ball On the Break and having a 9-Ball Break & Run in one night.  

9-Ball 20-0 (20-0)- Earned by winning a weekly 9-Ball match and you receive 20 match points, and your opponent receives (0) zero points.

I Beat a 7 (IB7) - Earned by winning against an opponent, who is ranked a SL7 in 9-Ball.

I Beat an 8 (IB8) - Earned by winning against an opponent, who is ranked a SL8 in 9-Ball.

I Beat a 9 (IB9) - Earned by winning against an opponent, who is ranked a SL9 in 9-Ball.

Miscellaneous Patches

Clean Sweep (CS) - Earned when an 8-Ball or 9-Ball team wins ALL FIVE of their matches in one night. Only team members who played receive this patch. Forfeited matches do not count. 

Grand Slam (GS) - The Grand Slam Patch is a favorite among all players and earning one is considered a great accomplishment.  This patch is earned when a player earns at least one of each of the following patches in the same session: 8-Ball on the Break, 8-Ball Break & Run, 9-Ball on the Break and 9-Ball Break & Run.

I Won My First Match (WFM) - When a new APA member wins their first match. 

Good Sportsmanship - Did you notice a fellow APA member displaying good sportsmanship?  Go to stny.apaleagues.com and fill out a Good Sportsmanship Nomination form.

Milestone Patches (MP) - Earned when you have reached a certain milestone of matches played in both 8-Ball & 9-Ball combined. Available patches are 100, 250, 500, 750, & 1000.
