We wanted to officially congratulate Curtis Wilson from our Fulton Juniors Division for his recent accomplishments during the Juniors Championships in St. Louis. Curtis became Southern Tier & UpState NY first ever Champion at this event. Curtis is also the first singles champion in general for our league overall.

 

With a field of 64 participants in the Red Tier this was no easy feat. From what I was told, Curtis was actually down pretty big in his previous match but kept his composure to come back to secure his place in the finals. I'm a big believer in the match is never over until the last ball is sunk. It was amazing to hear that a young man with so much on the line was able to keep not only his composure to come back but also able to keep any nerves in check. Well done Curtis.

 

We wanted to thank all the other juniors participating in this event as well as the reps who volunteer their time to make sure our Junior program is the success that it is. A big shoutout to the Wilson family who have been big supporters of the league throughout the years and have worked with Curtis and supported him in all of his sporting activities. I believe that support and dedication is what helped give Curtis the edge in claiming this years Red Tier crown.
